KL Dragons is a professional basketball team established by a joint effort of Malaysia's very own young successful entrepreneurs who have a passion for sports; Mr. Ruben Emir Gnanalingam, Dato' Wira Dani Daim and Dato' Robin Tan Yeong Ching. KL Dragons is the first team to represent Malaysia in the ASEAN Basketball league (ABL), which would be running from the month of October till February every year. The ABL league is fully endorsed by the South East Asia Basketball Association (SEABA) and International Basketball Federation (FIBA) Asia.
